The Samsung PM983 MZQLB1T9HAJR is a high-performance 1.92TB U.2 NVMe SSD, engineered for enterprise and data center environments that demand consistent speed, reliability, and endurance. Built on Samsung’s V-NAND technology, this SSD delivers fast and efficient storage with PCIe Gen3 x4 interface and NVMe 1.2 protocol, offering significantly higher performance than traditional SATA SSDs. Although it shares the familiar 2.5-inch form factor, the PM983 connects via the U.2 (SFF-8639) interface, which enables ultra-fast PCIe communication, not compatible with standard SATA bays. Designed for scalable, read-intensive workloads such as content delivery, virtualization, and cloud computing, this SSD provides enterprise-class endurance, 2GB LPDDR4 DRAM cache, and power-loss protection (PLP) to safeguard data in the event of unexpected shutdowns.
