The Intel Xeon Silver 4310 Processor is a high-performance server processor from Intel's 3rd Gen Xeon Scalable family, designed for data centre and enterprise environments that demand reliability, scalability, and energy efficiency. This 12-core, 24-thread processor operates at a base frequency of 2.10 GHz and can boost up to 3.30 GHz with Intel Turbo Boost Technology, delivering a balance of compute power and efficiency suitable for multi-threaded workloads, virtualization, and cloud-based applications. The Xeon Silver 4310 supports up to 8 channels of DDR4 memory with a maximum memory speed of 2667 MHz and capacity of 6 TB when paired with Intel Optane Persistent Memory 200 Series, enhancing memory bandwidth and performance for data-intensive tasks. It also supports Intel's hardware security features such as Intel Software Guard Extensions (SGX) and Intel Crypto Acceleration, adding an extra layer of security for sensitive data processing and cryptographic workloads.
