The Intel Xeon Gold 6336Y Processor is a powerful server-focused CPU launched in 2021, designed to support high-performance computing tasks. Built with Intel’s 10nm Ice Lake-SP architecture, it features 24 cores and 48 threads, providing substantial parallel processing power for demanding data centre and enterprise environments. The base clock speed is 2.4 GHz, with the ability to turbo boost up to 3.6 GHz for intensive workloads. Supporting up to 6 TB of DDR4-3200 memory across 8 channels, the 6336Y also integrates 36MB of L3 cache, optimising access to frequently used data and boosting efficiency. Moreover, it offers 64 PCIe 4.0 lanes, enabling fast connections with high-speed peripherals and storage solutions.
