Dell PowerEdge T560 Tower Server – Configure Your Own Enterprise Server. The Dell PowerEdge T560 is a powerful and scalable 16th Generation dual-socket tower server designed for businesses that require enterprise performance in an office-friendly form factor. Ideal for small and medium businesses, branch offices, remote sites and on-premises IT, this Configure Your Own barebone platform can be tailored for virtualisation, databases, application hosting, backup, file services and other business-critical workloads.
This configuration features 12 x 3.5-inch Hot-Swap SAS/SATA drive bays, providing substantial storage capacity for compatible enterprise HDD and SSD configurations. The high-capacity chassis is particularly well suited to backup repositories, file servers, archive storage and large business datasets.
Compatible 2.5-inch SAS/SATA drives can also be used with suitable carriers, giving additional flexibility when combining high-capacity HDD storage with enterprise SSDs.
The PowerEdge T560 supports up to two 4th or 5th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors and 16 DDR5 RDIMM slots, allowing processor and memory capacity to be selected around the required workload. Support for PCIe Gen5 expansion, Full Height PCIe cards and OCP 3.0 networking provides flexibility for storage controllers, network adapters and other enterprise expansion hardware.
Compatible Dell PERC RAID controllers and HBA solutions can be selected to suit different performance, capacity and redundancy requirements. Processors, memory, storage drives, RAID controllers and other configurable components are not included unless specifically selected as part of the server build.
Enterprise management is provided through Dell iDRAC9 and OpenManage, enabling remote monitoring, diagnostics, firmware management and lifecycle administration. The T560 also supports redundant Hot-Plug power supplies, Hot-Swap storage and enterprise-class cooling for reliable continuous operation.
