Designed for demanding enterprise and data centre environments, the Dell PowerEdge R770 Rack Server is a highly configurable 17th Generation 2U dual-socket server combining powerful Intel Xeon 6 processing, high-speed DDR5 memory, enterprise storage and PCIe Gen5 expansion. Available from EuroPC as a configure-your-own barebone server, this R770 configuration features 8 × 2.5-inch Hot-Plug SAS/SATA drive bays, making it ideally suited to virtualisation, databases, private cloud infrastructure, application hosting and other business-critical workloads.
Powered by Intel Xeon 6 processors, the Dell PowerEdge R770 supports up to two CPUs and provides the multi-core compute performance and scalability required by modern enterprise environments. Its dual-socket architecture enables the server to be configured for workloads ranging from general-purpose infrastructure and application hosting through to large virtual machine deployments, databases and compute-intensive business systems.
This particular EuroPC configuration features 8 × 2.5-inch Hot-Plug SAS/SATA drive bays, providing a flexible enterprise storage platform for compatible SSD and HDD configurations. The chassis enables organisations to balance storage performance, capacity, resilience and cost according to their workload requirements, making it an excellent choice for virtualisation hosts, database servers, business applications and general-purpose data centre infrastructure.
