Designed for demanding enterprise and data centre environments, the Dell PowerEdge R770 Rack Server is a highly configurable 17th Generation 2U dual-socket server combining next-generation Intel Xeon processing, high-speed DDR5 memory, enterprise storage and PCIe Gen5 expansion. Available from EuroPC as a configure-your-own barebone server, this R770 configuration features 16 × 2.5-inch Hot-Plug SAS/SATA drive bays, making it ideally suited to virtualisation, databases, cloud infrastructure, application hosting, analytics and other business-critical workloads.
Powered by Intel Xeon 6 processors, the Dell PowerEdge R770 supports up to two CPUs and delivers substantial multi-core compute performance for modern enterprise applications. Its dual-socket architecture provides the flexibility and scalability required for workload consolidation, virtual machines, database platforms and compute-intensive business environments.
This particular EuroPC configuration features a high-density 16 × 2.5-inch Hot-Plug SAS/SATA drive chassis, providing a flexible enterprise storage platform for compatible HDD and SSD configurations.
