The Dell PowerEdge R7625 is a powerful dual-socket 2U rack server designed to deliver high levels of performance, scalability and efficiency for demanding data centre workloads. Supporting 4th Gen AMD EPYC™ 9004 Series processors, the R7625 is well suited to virtualisation, software-defined storage, high-performance computing (HPC), databases and other enterprise applications.
This configuration features an 8 x 2.5" NVMe-only hot-swap backplane, providing high-speed PCIe storage for performance-critical workloads. With dedicated NVMe drive support across all eight front bays, the system can deliver high throughput and low-latency storage for applications where fast access to data is essential.
Equipped with the Dell BOSS-N1 (Boot Optimised Storage Solution), the R7625 provides dedicated boot storage using M.2 NVMe SSDs with hardware RAID support. Separating operating system storage from the main front drive bays allows all eight 2.5" NVMe bays to remain available for application and data storage.
The PowerEdge R7625 supports 24 DDR5 RDIMM slots with ECC memory, delivering increased memory bandwidth for demanding and memory-intensive workloads. Combined with PCIe Gen5 expansion, the platform provides extensive connectivity for high-speed networking, storage controllers, accelerators and other enterprise expansion devices.
Advanced system management is provided through Dell iDRAC9 and OpenManage, helping administrators deploy, monitor and manage the server throughout its lifecycle. Dell PowerEdge security features are integrated throughout the platform to help protect system firmware, configuration and data.
