Dell PowerEdge R7625 Rack Server – Configure Your Own AMD Enterprise Server. The Dell PowerEdge R7625 is a powerful and highly configurable 16th Generation 2U dual-socket AMD enterprise server designed for demanding data centre, virtualisation and business-critical workloads. Available from EuroPC as a Configure Your Own barebone server, this R7625 chassis features 24 × 2.5-inch Hot-Swap SAS/SATA drive bays together with a fitted Dell BOSS-N1 boot module.
The platform is ideally suited to virtualisation, databases, private cloud, analytics, enterprise storage and high-performance computing, with extensive processor, memory, storage and expansion options available to suit different infrastructure requirements.
The PowerEdge R7625 supports up to two 4th Generation AMD EPYC 9004 Series processors using the SP5 platform, providing substantial multi-core performance for modern enterprise applications and large virtual machine environments.
This configuration provides 24 × 2.5-inch Hot-Swap SAS/SATA drive bays using an enterprise SAS/SATA expander backplane. Compatible HDD and SSD storage can be configured to suit different capacity, performance and redundancy requirements, making the R7625 well suited to virtual machines, databases, application servers, transactional workloads and enterprise storage.
A fitted Dell BOSS-N1 boot module provides dedicated support for compatible M.2 boot drives, allowing operating system storage to remain separate from the main SAS/SATA data array. BOSS M.2 SSDs are not included and can be selected separately as part of the server configuration.
With 24 DDR5 RDIMM slots and support for up to 6TB of DDR5 ECC Registered memory, dependent on processor and memory configuration, the PowerEdge R7625 provides substantial memory capacity for demanding enterprise workloads. Support for PCIe Gen5 expansion, OCP 3.0 networking and compatible Full Height or Low Profile expansion hardware provides further flexibility for storage controllers, networking and specialised enterprise devices.
Compatible Dell PERC RAID controllers and HBA solutions can be selected according to the required storage performance and redundancy level. Processors, memory, data drives, RAID controllers, network adapters and other configurable components are not included unless specifically selected as part of the server build.
Advanced server management is provided through Dell iDRAC9 and OpenManage, enabling remote monitoring, diagnostics, firmware management and lifecycle administration. The R7625 also supports redundant Hot-Plug power supplies and enterprise-class cooling for reliable continuous operation.
