Designed for demanding enterprise and data centre environments, the Dell PowerEdge R7625 Rack Server is a highly configurable 2U dual-socket AMD platform combining powerful compute performance with high-speed storage, memory and expansion capabilities. Available from EuroPC as a configure-your-own barebone server, this R7625 configuration features 24 × 2.5-inch Hot-Plug NVMe drive bays together with a dedicated Dell BOSS-N1 boot solution, making it ideally suited to virtualisation, high-performance computing (HPC), databases, analytics, software-defined infrastructure and data-intensive enterprise workloads.
Powered by 4th Generation AMD EPYC 9004 Series processors, the Dell PowerEdge R7625 supports up to two AMD EPYC CPUs using the SP5 socket platform. Its dual-socket architecture provides substantial multi-core processing capability for demanding workloads, giving organisations the flexibility to configure processor performance around virtual machines, compute-intensive applications and large-scale business infrastructure.
This particular EuroPC configuration features a high-density 24 × 2.5-inch NVMe-only Hot-Plug drive chassis, providing high-speed PCIe storage connectivity across the front drive bays. NVMe storage offers excellent throughput and low latency, making the R7625 particularly well suited to database workloads, virtualisation clusters, high-performance storage, analytics and applications requiring rapid access to large volumes of data.
The server also includes support for the Dell BOSS-N1 (Boot Optimised Storage Solution), providing dedicated M.2 NVMe storage for the operating system. By separating boot storage from the main front drive array, the BOSS-N1 allows the 24 front NVMe bays to be utilised for application and data storage while providing a dedicated and resilient platform for operating system deployment.
With 24 DDR5 RDIMM slots supporting ECC memory and speeds of up to 4800 MT/s, the PowerEdge R7625 provides the memory bandwidth and capacity required for demanding enterprise applications. Combined with PCIe Gen5 expansion, the platform offers extensive connectivity for high-speed networking, accelerators and other enterprise PCIe devices, allowing the server to scale alongside changing infrastructure requirements.
Advanced server administration is provided through Dell iDRAC9 and OpenManage, enabling administrators to remotely deploy, monitor, configure and maintain the system throughout its lifecycle. Integrated PowerEdge management and security technologies help simplify day-to-day administration while supporting secure operation within business-critical environments.
Designed for continuous enterprise operation, the Dell PowerEdge R7625 supports redundant Hot-Plug power supplies and Hot-Plug cooling fans, helping maximise availability while simplifying servicing and maintenance within the data centre.
Whether deployed for virtualisation, high-performance computing, database infrastructure, analytics, software-defined storage or high-speed NVMe workloads, the Dell PowerEdge R7625 2U Rack Server provides a powerful and scalable foundation. Combining dual-socket AMD EPYC processing, 24 × 2.5-inch Hot-Plug NVMe drive bays, DDR5 memory, PCIe Gen5 expansion and BOSS-N1 boot storage, this configurable server is backed by a Dell 3 Year Onsite Warranty.
